Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily operations in both the Front of House and Back of House.
- Deliver outstanding service and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Address customer complaints promptly and accurately.
- Regularly evaluate product quality and explore new suppliers.
- Organize and manage staff shifts effectively.
- Assess staff performance and offer constructive feedback for improvement.
- Estimate future needs for supplies, utensils, and cleaning products.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain a positive image for the restaurant and suggest ways to enhance it.
- Control operational costs and implement waste reduction measures.
- Prepare detailed reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expenses.
- Promote the restaurant brand in the local community through events and word-of-mouth.
- Recommend strategies to reach a wider audience, such as discounts and social media promotions.
- Train new and existing employees in excellent customer service practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager, General Manager, or in a similar role.
- Strong background in customer service management.
- Extensive knowledge of food and beverages, with the ability to recall ingredients and dishes for customers and staff.
- Familiarity with restaurant management software like OpenTable and PeachWorks.
- Excellent leadership and motivational skills.
- Strong financial management abilities.
- Hospitality management or culinary education is a plus.
