Responsibilities
- Demonstrate advanced skills in handling rotating equipment, including centrifugal compressors and pumps.
- Perform dimensional checks and use precision measuring tools for quality control.
- Understand and conduct pressure testing, machining, and valve work, along with basic welding tasks.
- Install wear rings using both hot (expansion fit) and cold (shrink fit) methods.
- Dismantle, repair, reassemble, and test various equipment, including pumps, valves, diesel engines, and compressors.
Qualifications
- ITI in Mechanical Fitters with NCVT certification or equivalent, or a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of relevant experience, with mandatory overhauling experience.
- Proficient in rotor balancing.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Basic mathematics skills to perform necessary calculations.
