Responsibilities
- Substation Leadership: Oversee the electrical and instrumentation components of substation construction and commissioning, ensuring adherence to Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) standards.
- Drawing Interpretation: Read and analyze complex electrical drawings to ensure they comply with SEC and project specifications.
- Inspection Participation: Take an active role in inspections by SEC and other stakeholders, verifying that all construction and commissioning work meets SEC regulations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Organize and attend technical meetings with key suppliers, such as Siemens and ABB, to address any project-specific issues related to technology and execution.
- Technical Support: Provide solutions for electrical and instrumentation challenges that arise during construction and commissioning, collaborating closely with suppliers and SEC representatives.
- Documentation Management: Keep thorough records of inspections, commissioning activities, and technical meetings.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 5-8 years of experience in substation construction and commissioning, with a focus on SEC standards.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in interpreting electrical drawings and specifications.
- Experienced in collaborating with suppliers like Siemens and ABB.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, particularly in construction and commissioning contexts.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively engage with suppliers, SEC representatives, and project stakeholders.
