Responsibilities
- Installation and Maintenance: Install, commission, and maintain ELV systems, ensuring they operate effectively.
- Network Cabling: Perform network cabling tasks, including pulling, termination, and testing of cables.
- CCTV Systems: Set up and maintain CCTV systems, including installation and cable management for both analogue and IP systems.
- Device Configuration: Configure NVR/DVR systems and install time attendance and door access systems.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and test voice, data, and fiber optic cabling, including patch panel terminations.
- Compliance: Follow environmental, health, and safety policies during all installation and maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- Education: Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, or Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on experience as an ELV Systems Technician.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of network cabling, fiber termination, and testing.
- Familiarity with industry-standard test equipment and cabling standards.
- Ability to read and understand shop drawings and schematic diagrams.
- Location: Candidates must be locally available.
