Responsibilities
As a Senior QA/QC Professional, your role will include:
- Managing Quality Systems: Establishing and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) to meet industry standards.
- Documentation: Creating and updating quality plans, inspection and test procedures, and all quality control documents.
- Training: Conducting regular training to ensure the site team understands and follows quality protocols.
- Site Inspections: Performing frequent site inspections and audits to check compliance with project standards and regulations.
- Records: Keeping accurate records of all inspections, test results, and non-compliance reports.
- Collaboration: Working closely with the project team to integrate quality standards throughout the project.
- Continuous Improvement: Identifying improvement areas and leading quality enhancement initiatives.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or a related field) or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in QA/QC roles in construction and maintenance projects, especially power plants or substations.
- Expertise in quality standards, inspection techniques, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Certifications such as ISO 9001 or Six Sigma (preferred).
