Responsibilities
As an Accountant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Filing quarterly VAT returns.
- Preparing balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
- Reconciling bank statements.
- Handling petty cash.
- Processing supplier payments.
- Conducting stock counts and stock reconciliations.
- Preparing daily reports and accounts.
- Creating weekly and monthly financial statements.
- Performing internal audits for submission to the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MOIC) through an auditor.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
