Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Organizing Committee to define requirements for host broadcast production and ensure timely execution.
- Continuously improve the brand’s broadcast offerings by managing the development of broadcast graphics and on-screen applications.
- Work with the production partner to enhance broadcast quality for live and post-production through best practices.
- Communicate the vision for each shot to the production team.
- Set common goals and direction among staff, promoting effective performance management.
- Create shooting plans that detail lighting, camera operations, and movements.
- Define project requirements based on creative leadership inputs.
- Direct production teams on camera set-ups and shot requirements.
- Oversee budgets, forecasts, work schedules, and staffing across departments.
- Guide rehearsals and provide feedback on equipment setup and adjustments.
- Manage all technical aspects of events, ensuring the functionality of audio-visual equipment.
- Contribute to event concept development by collaborating with art and technical directors.
- Conduct site inspections to test equipment and ensure venue adequacy.
- Coordinate with vendors for venue, AV equipment, catering, and talent.
- Develop and oversee the event budget, ensuring all financial aspects are managed effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in media, marketing, or communications.
- Proven experience in international media rights sales for sports or entertainment, with strong contract negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of broadcast production and distribution technologies, especially for sports events.
- Familiarity with archiving systems and rights management.
- Deep understanding of the global media landscape and legal aspects of sports rights.
- Strong commitment to quality and a client-first approach.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
