Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and preventive tasks to ensure the efficient and safe operation of HVAC systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot air conditioning system malfunctions with minimal supervision.
- Conduct repairs on HVAC systems, including recharging refrigerants, checking for leaks, and ensuring proper refrigerant cycles.
- Replace compressors and perform energy efficiency upgrades, such as installing smart thermostats.
- Prepare quick estimates for repairs and services.
- Explain maintenance procedures and provide recommendations for system upgrades or replacements to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and service calls.
- Mentor and train less experienced team members.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and work plans effectively.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: A minimum of 3-4 years in a relevant field, with a strong understanding of residential air conditioning systems.
- Skills: Proficient in diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems; knowledge in MEP and civil works is preferred. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.
