Introduction:
A leading interior design company is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee our furniture manufacturing division. If you have a strong background in operations and production management, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Manage Production Processes: Oversee daily operations in furniture manufacturing to ensure smooth production.
- Inventory and Supply Chain: Maintain efficient inventory levels and manage the supply chain effectively.
- Lead Teams: Supervise production, logistics, and quality control teams to achieve operational goals.
- Ensure Quality and Safety: Uphold high-quality standards and safety regulations throughout the production process.
- Optimize Processes: Continuously improve operational processes and manage budgets effectively.
- Oversee Warehousing and Deliveries: Manage warehousing operations and ensure timely product deliveries to customers.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in operations or production management, with at least 5 years in furniture manufacturing.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
- Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with expertise in furniture production and lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
