Responsibilities
- Independently develop General Arrangement (GA) and Electrical Wiring Diagrams, along with Loop Drawings.
- Work with Siemens Automation Products, including S7-400H/FH, S7-1200, S7-300, and ET200M, ensuring familiarity with their wiring requirements.
- Utilize various panel components, such as terminal blocks, relays, breakers, ducts, and barriers.
- Fully leverage EPLAN engineering tools for automatic arrangement of mounting plates, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and legends generation.
- Create and edit symbol libraries (IEC, NEMA, etc.) and modify automatic numbering schemes, templates, and cross-ferruling based on customer specifications.
- Edit and customize EPLAN plot frames and report forms, including interconnection diagrams, cable schedules, parts lists, and loop drawings.
- Generate various reports using EPLAN and manage parts through creating, editing, and exporting macros and databases.
- Utilize AutoCAD to create, edit, and modify drawings, and read and edit P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) as an added advantage.
- Must possess the necessary equipment, including a laptop and licenses for EPLAN 2.9 SP1 / AutoCAD.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Eplan & AutoCAD Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering concepts and familiarity with Siemens automation products.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Must be locally available in Qatar.
- Flexibility to work six days a week for 10 hours each day.
