Responsibilities
- Supervision: Manage MEP activities on-site, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Coordination: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors for smooth execution of MEP tasks.
- Installation Monitoring: Oversee the installation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including HVAC, lighting, fire protection, and plumbing.
- Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and performance standards.
- Document Review: Check drawings, specifications, and technical submittals for accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and address any MEP-related issues during the construction and maintenance phases.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure the team follows all health and safety guidelines during project execution.
- Assistance in Logistics: Help with scheduling, procurement of materials, and workforce allocation for MEP tasks.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit progress reports to management regarding MEP activities.
Qualifications
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in MEP supervision, preferably in the construction sector.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and relevant codes and regulations.
- Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Drawing Interpretation: Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project documents.
- Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with health and safety regulations in construction.
